In this subject, students identify the status of the Korean language in the world and learn the basic knowledge and skills for various creative works based on their understanding of the Korean language.

| 로컬과인문학 (Local and Humanities) |
한·미·일·중의 지역 인문학 기초지식을 학습함으로써 인문학적 인식의 지평을 넓히고자 한다. 다양한 문화, 언어, 역사 속에서 보편성과 특수성을 함께 학습함으로써 인문학의 역할과 과제를 이해한다.
This course aims to expand the scope of humanities-based understanding by studying foundational knowledge in regional humanities across South Korea, the United States, Japan, and China. Through exploring both the universality and specificity within diverse cultures, languages, and histories, students will gain insight into the roles and challenges of humanities today.

| 로컬과콘텐츠 (Local and Contents) |
영화, 애니메이션, 드라마, 연극, 만화 등으로 일반 대중에게 잘 알려진 한·미·일·중의 콘텐츠 소재와 배경, 의미를 로컬이라는 맥락 속에서 학습한다. 또한, 인문학적 상상력이 지역 가치, 지역 콘텐츠로 어떻게 실현되고 있는지 그 현황과 전망도 이해한다.
This course examines the themes, contexts, and meanings of popular cultural content―including film, animation, drama, theater, and comics―originating from South Korea, the United States, Japan, and China within a regional framework. Furthermore, it explores how the imaginative aspects of humanities are translated into local values and content, offering students an understanding of the current status and future prospects of regional cultural content.
